This is hard for me so hear I go. I just lost my husband recently. I’m aware of my safety since I’m on my own now. I want to win this for me. When I saw this on Facebook I said Whoa! This could not be true. When I saw the Jonah Brothers that I’ve been watching forever. I knew I might have a chane of winning I trust them with all my heart. Thank you for considering me. God is good

Last night while watching the Super Bowl, Drew & Jonathan commercial came on about the ADT Home Security contest came on. I really pray that my letter will be considered. I’m a widow of 37 years living in the same house my late husband and I bought in 1978. Since his passing I have to hire contractors or do the repairs myself. It hasn’t been easy but I do the best I can. And winning a Security System would be awesome. Sincerely Yvonne

I was watching tv when I saw this and said OK this would be good for me and my family for two reasons one is so my two grandchildren can play out side without me watching their every move and for me to be able to watch them play safely and do household chores. The other reason is that being on social security make it hard to do any major changes to you home like a new hvac system that would be better then a hold home renovation for me. I hope we be considered. No matter this would be a great gift for any family to win. Sincerely, Barbara

The thing I most want to protect is my family! Our home is Long overdue a renovation, the electrical wiring is long outdated! We have been told that it is a fire waiting to happen! Yikes! We would be so happy and appreciative of Jonathan and Drews help! And the added protection of ADT security would just be totally awesome!

Our house or mine has mold. Would love for it to be gotten rid of. The kitchen is outdated no dishwasher. Our house is so cold in the winter and hot in the summer. The windows are old and drafty. I would like for our place to be safe from breathing mold and mildew. Our water pressure could be in the shower better due to mold and being old.

ADT and Property Brothers

You ask for my story on why I need this home repair.
Both my spouse and I are Army Veterans (Bob is a Vietnam/Desert Shield/Storm Veteran) and has work Civil Service for the Department of Defense for 20 years off and on. I have served 20 year 8 years active the rest with the National Guard / Reserves and while in the National Guard and Reserve and work other jobs full time and recently work 14 years Civil Service for the Department of Defense. I am a Mother of 3 boys 1 Step daughter from my spouse first marriage 2 Grand Daughter and 1 Great Grand Daughter. The Boys travel with us every assignment I had in the Military.
This is our first and only home don’t plan to get another one. We bought it in 2012
Since we bought it Bob Retired from Civil Service in 2016 and his health has declined to the point he is in The New Mexico Veteran Nursing Home thought he would like to be in our home. My Husband has Cirrhosis of the Liver / Bad Heart / Bad ankles which he doesn’t walk very much and is starting to get Dementia/Antimeres.
I retired in 2018 because of my heart from an aneurism on the ascending aorta which I had repaired in Aug of 2017 and had complication which I didn’t recover from until Jan of 2018 in April of 2019 I ended up with a pacemaker because my heart went to 40 beats per minute. I also have bad Knees because of all these issue in my house I taking depression meds
Because I have several different jobs in my life my spouse relied on me to do repairs
My Military Training (Admin Specialist (clerk typist)/Generator Mechanic/Utility Helicopter Repairer
Petroleum Fuel Handler/ Civilian jobs Fast Foods (Various) He mainly was a Clerk
Before he went into the nursing home in Nov 2019 Bob did something to the Master Bathroom Toilet while I was taking a bath and it ended up flooding the garage. He also has sit so hard on the other toilet that cause the water intake shut off valve in the tank to crack and cause water damage. The Stucco is coming loose on the side of the house. My air conditioner needs repair because when I was in the hospital bob and the boys forgot to change Filters and my Carpet needs repair in the entire house because I had a hard time training my dogs when my dog Lucie had pup in 2017 they ended ripping it up in some area from teething and they like to go on the rug. I try to catch them. If that get replace I don’t want carpet.
People think when you work Civil Service you make good money when you retire we don’t. They expect me to pay $1940 a month for the Nursing Home and pay for my mortgage and bills at home our income together doesn’t cover it. I am trying to get Medicaid to cover the Nursing Home for my spouse but if it don’t he will be coming home. This home is not ready for him I need it to be handicap ready in order for him to come home.

I would love to win a home security system from ADT! We have lived in this neighborhood for 20+ years and things have changed over those years to make a safe place feel a bit less so each year. I love the Property Brothers, and watching Jonathan redo an old house into a much more user friendly home! I hope you will consider us!

I want to win to see my grandparents house little house they enjoyed. My granny was so into this house she chose to get carpet instead of a pacemaker she needed. On the day she passed away, she got on a stool to clean the windows early that morning. She cleaned all the time, and talked about those who didn’t take pride in there home. They appreciated every lil thing about the house and took care of it as best as they could. I want to continue their appreciation and pride for this lil house. The floors are sloppy and the house needs a new roof and additional, larger bathroom and closets. I feel granny’s presence still in the house, and that makes me smile. I’m going into foster parenting and need work done for that. When I watch your show, Im in aw with a smile every show. It’s so amazingly cool to watch you guys transform the spaces into a beautiful new environment. I love watching… with my popcorn and lemonade. Mom is now watching with me! I love, love, love your show and would absolutely flip overs thousand times if you came to my house…and work on! OMGs that would be a miracle for sure! Love hugs!!!

To be real honest at age 48 I want a home that I can be proud of and live comfortably in. And I would love for my future wife to be honored to live and grow old in together.

Also for my teenage niece and nephew, you see I never had children of my own. Though I’m so close to them that they have their own rooms at my house.

I could really use the property brothers’ touch on in and outside my home.

My home was built in the 1960s, it could use foundation repair, forever siding, new windows, new HVAC and grounded plug outlets. Hopefully, I could have a screened-in back porch and some other improvements in my small home.

I’m ready for a positive change in my life and this would be a huge blessing in my life.

Hi my name is Richard I’m 49 my wife and I have been married for 24 this coming March. When I was 35 in 2006 I got sick out of nowhere went into a full blown liver failure and fell into a coma. I woke up 3 months later with with a new liver. During that time my wife alone with our 2 kids lost everything, our house, our small business she moved back with her mother we were officially homeless. Thanks to God’s Grace and mercy I’m still alive!

We have worked hard to rebuild what we lost for the next almost seven years we even started a new small business in 2011 however by the end of 2012 my body started to reject my transplanted liver and began to get very sick again by the end of 2013 it was confirmed I needed a second transplant and was put on the waiting list and after been in and out of hospitals for the next 2 years and losing everything again I collapsed in the living room of our 2 bedroom rental. I was taken to the hospital for emergency transplant and during surgery I died and was brought back I woke up a month later with full paralysis of the right side of my body that with hard work and perseverance I was able to regain the full use of my body.

Again we worked hard and finally in 2018 we were able to purchase a townhouse since losing our home. The house is nice but it can use some upgrades that we began to do as we looked towards the future. However In April of 2019 only 4 months after purchasing our home my strong, beautiful, hard working wife 47 was diagnosed with stomach cancer in the next 10 months she got 80% of her stomach removed in addition to 4 months of chemo, mind you she is the primary bread winner since I’ve been disabled since my first transplant.

My wife finished her last chemo by January 2020 and she went back to work the last week of January. My wife is the wife I prayed for, she is beautiful, hard working not to mention a great mother and I would love to get the renovations for her and since we don’t have the money and I can’t physically do it for her I would love to win this contest for her, trust me after taking care of me and the kids for the last 14 years she deserves this and more and me not been able to do it for her breakers my heart.

My hope and prayer is that we are chosen to receive this great blessing.

Sincerely,
Richard

My husband and I bought our house when our kids were going up. The are grown now. We were going on our basement to remodel it. When my husband had a heart atrack. So nothing got done. Now we just got water in our basement. They say it needs all new plumbing. We will never be able to do. Medical bills extra. So now with the water we will have to deal with mold I think. If we can not fix the problem. We will most likely have to leave our house or live with it as is. My best friend lives with us sometimes. She as m.s. so has not been able to come and stay. Her bedroom is in the basement. Which now that the children are grown. We were moving her upstairs.
