We are having trouble making it month to month because of all my Brain Surgeries at OHSU.
Had to refinance to get my first surgery to remove my Left Front Temperol Love to Stop Gran Mal Seizures.
First they needed to fill Two Brain Aneurysms with Titanium.
I have Panhypopituitarism and Hypothyroidism and Adrenal Hormones Deficiency.
All started on my way to work and my Heart Stopping and I woke up in a madrone tree.
We would be so very Thankful for Your Help!
GOD Bless ?

Dear BH&G
BH&G you’ve always been great inspiration!
I’ve lived in my home since Spring 1993.
And sad to say, we’ve only had hand me down cabinets updated from my Grandparents leftovers, back in the late 90″s. This poor home needs an updated kitchen desperately! I would be honored to win and most grateful! My husband and I are dealing with disabilities. We can no longer do DIY projects. It sure would be a blessing for us to win.
Although there are a lot of people in need.
Many wishes for luck to us all.
Thank you.
Mr. & Mrs. Pete Hamman

Our kitchen could really use some updating. We redid it a few years ago, but there are ways it can be improved to make it easier to be used.

Our home was built in 1867 and is bad need of various things. My husband and I are on a fixed income now and cannot afford to do the things that this beautiful historic home deserves. Would love to win!

Our home was built in 1867 and is historical for our little community. It is in bad need of things to bring it back to what it deserves. The front door is original and is in bad need of repair or replaced and the porch is sagging. Could certainly use this money to fix these items and make it shine as it deserves. Our town has a newspaper that was founded by the family that built this home, so it deserves to be preserved. We are on a fixed income now and cannot afford to give this beauty what it deserves! What a blessing if we would win this.

Would love to win. We’ve been in our house 30 years, remodelled by removing cabinets over peninsula, painted cabinets a pretty greenish-blue, yellow on the walls, done over 20 years ago. Bought new appliances over the years with an eye to saving on utilities, and plan to reuse when we remodel. It’s really showing its age, floor gettingdl depressions where chairs are, needs repainting after 20 years and new cabinets. And husband no longer wanting to do the work. He’s done a lot over the years, time to turn over to professionals.

We purchased a home that was built around 1920 and love it. There has been some updates but needs to brighten up yet keeping with the history.

It would be a blessing to have a brand new kitchen. I’m 69 and not yet retired. I’ve been slowly remodeling a home that was passed down from my grand parents. I’ve been getting replacing plumbing, electrical and the roofing. It really would be a blessing to have a kitchen makeover. There is nothing left if a kitchen so I’ve been using hot plates, toaster oven and instapot to feed myself. If I win the make over I’ll be able to retire and really enjoy the rest of my life cooking and entertaining my my grandchildren, children, family and most of all myself. Thanks

I suppose you are aware that almost all of the Better Homes and Gardens sweepstakes and affiliates have been off-line for the past 3 days? For every 5 that I try to enter, usually only 1 will go through. It is rather frustrating. I hope that the sites can be fixed so I can get back to trying to win a prize! Thank You, Leslie Ellen Frey

Subscriber for years. My husband and I are having to move back to my parent’s home, which is one level, due to our health problems (ages 82 and 86). Their home was built in 1948, and we need to redo kitchen to meet our health needs.

My son has lost his job during this pandemic. He has filed a claim for I employment back in April and still has not heard from the unemployment office. He has sent in all the paper work they have asked for; he has no income. His house exterior is stucco and is falling off the house exposing bare wood base. The kitchen and bathroom are in need of xtreme repair. It would truly be a blessing.

Thanks BH&G for such a wonderful magazine…lots of ideas for DIY’s, makeovers, tasty recipe’s and great general interest articles. My husband passed and I have learned to live on one social security check…I’m not complaining because it pays the bills but if I were the LUCKY winner of the $25K I could redo my bathroom to make it more handicap accessible. Thank you.

I am 75 now and use a walker, my right leg being too painful to get around. Hope to remodel my bathroom to create a walk-in shower. I was told by a contractor it might cost 25,000. Yikes!
