The Tootsie Pops How Many Licks Sweepstakes

Eligibility : The Tootsie Pops How Many Licks Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 13 years of age or older as of  August 1, 2008.

Promotion Period : The Tootsie Pops How Many Licks Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 a.m. EDT on August 1, 2008 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. EDT on July 31, 2009.

Limit : Limit one (1) entry per person/e-mail address regardless of entry method.

Prize (s):

Sixty (60) Monthly Prizes (five per month): A one year supply (27 pounds) of assorted Tootsie Candy items.  Approximate Retail Value: $50/each.

One (1) Grand Prize:  $50,000 cash, awarded as a check made payable to the winner or, if the winner is a minor, to the winner’s parent or legal guardian.    Bonus Prize: if the Grand Prize Winner’s guess as to the number of licks it takes to arrive at the chewy center of a Tootsie Pop is within 3% (plus or minus) of the average number of licks calculated from all entries combined, the Grand Prize Winner will receive an additional $5,000 cash, awarded as a check made payable to the winner.
