Love…love….love watching Gold Rush! Can’t get enough of the Viking (Tony Beets and his family/crew), Parker, Rick and now the newest member of Gold Rush Miners…Fred Lewis and his ex-military crew! It’s awesome to see new faces trying to get after the gold.

Okay guys I watched Gold Rush December 4, 2020. Why wasn’t the Schnabel crew on this episode. I’ve been a loyal fan from the beginning of the show. I hate to say this but if your not going to give Parker equal time, I will not watch the show anymore. It’s like your asking me to watch the NY Jets in a fooitball game as opposed to watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. I’m very disappointed and I suppose you will get other fans contacting you with the same disappointments.

I purely enjoy Gold Rush with Parker, Tony, and the rest. I couldn’t find much to redeem the Hoffman Crew and their many failures. It was the proof that novices rarely succeed. The Dakota group took me by surprise with their white water adventures. A little history; my father was Dredge Master with Natomas Mining and built the Natomas “Rock Pile” where Aerojet General had their rocket engine manufacturing plant. He then dismantled. moved, and rebuilt one dredge in Wyoming and ran it. Tony’s dredge venture so intrigued me. When I was eight years old my Grandfather “fish scaled” a metal gold pan for me and my Dad taught me how to use it. Not to waste my time, I learned to successfully pan gold in the American River.. I’ve been panning every since, for 71 years. After leaving military service I became interested in what is considered “dredging” today and have had many claims in California. Some were very successful, some weren’t. I still enjoy the chase for Gold Flakes in my pan to this day. I am so in tune with your programs Gold Rush today as it is almost reliving my growing up and adult years. keep up the great programming!
