Here is a step-by-step guide that will help you enter this Sweepstakes today:

• Step 1. Visit www.Fox5atlanta.com/contests.
• Step 2. Upload a video of yourself, including your Name, Hometown, HBCU, why you deserve $5,000, and why you should be recognized with the 40 for the Future: Honoring HBCU Scholars Award sponsored by Montlick Injury Attorneys, based on your academic excellence, leadership, community service, and campus involvement.
• Step 3. You must enter your name, email address, and phone number, as well as the HBCU where student is currently enrolled.

Prizes

Finalist Prize. Each of the up to seven (7) Finalists will each receive $5,000 in scholarship funds, which shall be rendered and paid directly to the school that Finalist is enrolled in. The prize is provided by Montlick Injury Attorneys. ARV Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00).

Grand Prize. On a day selected and determined by FOX 5 in it’s sole discretion, between November 3, 2025 and November 14, 2025 (or, in the event of a tie, after a Grand Prize Winner is confirmed), FOX 5 will interview and record the Grand Prize Winner to present them with a scholarship check for an additional $5,000 payable to the school in which the Grand Prize Winner is enrolled. Prize provided by Montlick Injury Attorneys. ARV of Grand Prize is Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00). The total ARV to the one (1) Grand Prize winner is Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000), which consists of one (1) Finalist Prize in the amount of $5,000 and one (1) Grand Prize in the amount of $5,000.

Fox 5 Sweepstakes Rules

• Sweepstakes Eligibility: Entrants must be (a) 18 years of age or older, (b) have lawful access to the methods of entry set forth in these rules, and (c) at the time of entry and through the entirety of the awarding of the Prize, the entrant must be a college or university student currently enrolled in an HBCU located within the state of Georgia (as outlined below) and have a current, valid Student ID for verification. HBCUs located in Georgia are eligible for entry: Albany State University, Clark Atlanta University, Fort Valley State University, Interdenominational Theological Center, Morehouse College, Morehouse School of Medicine, Morris Brown College, Paine College, Savannah State University, and Spelman University.
• Promotion Period: The Contest ends at  10:00 AM on September 12, 2023.
• Limit: Only one entry per e-mail address regardless of how many email addresses a person may have or use.
• Winner Notification: All winners will be contacted via email message.
• Sweepstakes Winners: For a list of Finalists, send a separate, self-addressed, stamped envelope no later than one year following the end of the entry period, to: WAGA FOX 5, 1551 Briarcliff Road NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30306.
