The Sweepstakes is void in Alaska, Hawaii, the U.S. territories, possessions and commonwealths, and where restricted or prohibited by law.
Promotion Period : Beginning at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on September 13, 2010 until 5:00 p.m. ET on December 27, 2010 (the “Sweepstakes Period”)

Prize (s):
Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will win a choice of either: (A) $40,000.00 in cash (awarded in the form of a check) OR (B) a Chevy Equinox vehicle (Approximate Retail Value of the vehicle (“ARV” or Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (“MSRP”): $28,310.00) plus $8,493.00 awarded as a check to the recipient, which may be used toward the payment of taxes. Automobile prize does not include tax, title and license fees. Total ARV of Grand Prize with car: $36,803.00.
Winner List : Beginning on or about January 21, 2011 you may obtain the name of the Grand Prize Winner, either by going to the Website or by mailing a SASE to: “HGTV’s Car Hunters Challenge Sweepstakes” – Winner’s List, P.O. Box 233, Florham Park, NJ 07932. Results will be removed from the Website on or about February 28, 2011, and written requests received after February 28, 2011 will not be honored.

I am disabled, 69 years old and have a Ford Windstar Minivan with a blown engine. My mother, who will be 93 in December, depends on me to take her to her doctors at the Duke Eye Center in Durham, NC. She is a 5-year resident in our local nursing home, but I take her to the Eye Center, since she’s almost completely blind. I need to hear what the doctors have to say about her prognosis, as she had a corneal transplant last year and has both glaucoma and macular degeneration.

i got my car my car 1987 saturn. i had the car since 1987. I can,t afford an new car. i,m76 yrs.old. istill drive.myhusband died in sept,14 1991.we only had 5 weeks then he died .He died from pancreatic cancer.my sisters and brothers all passed away. iworked at the jail 131/2 years. i worked all the timeuntil [ at the jail as a nurse]. i took care of myself. from enid blankenship

I’m hoping to win a car, I don’t have a car and I can’t afford to buy one, I came back to the US after living in Italy for almost 30 years, but when I came back on June 2009, after 4 months I was struck by a Ford SUV and I must say I am alive just because GOD up above was guiding over me, I had surgey on my head and other issues, but up to today canI thank God I am here and able to write this mis adventure I had, I still have trouble with my back and leg and I am not able to do much walking and I really need a car to move around, public transportation is pretty hard for me being that I can’t stand for a long period of time and going up and down with the buses and trains does cause me pain… so it would be the greatest thing that could happen to me now is having a new car…..:)) Thanks sooo much for giving me a chance to win a car….. Iam a full time student and a full time mother I have two precious children who the depends on me. We have to catch the bus back and fourth to go places and take them to doctors apt and other. It get so hard when we have to go out in the rain or when it get cold. My kids stay so sick because we have to wait on the bus and it be so cold in the morning time. And it hard on me because I have to keep be late for class my dream and goal is to finish school and my kids dont have to worrie about any thing. Iam a singel mother who try to be a good mother to my kids I dont have no help at home so Im doing this all by my self. The city bus is the only transportion I have a this time I cant not afford a car right now. It will be a big blessing to me and my kids if we do win this. i enter this sweeptakes because ican not afford a car.my wife substained multiple injuries on her spinal cord from a hit and run accident .she has to go to physical therapy every day .she is strugling to get to the subway which is far from us.and also i have two kids with severe athsma .they go to their doctors appointment frequently.yesteday was a tough day for me i took my 6 months old baby to her appointment under that bad wether.my e mail address has change to this one i am sending this e mail to.in case i win you can contact me by using this e mail address.best wishes to all hgtv team andcar hunters challenge team may god bless .
