Travel Channel Trivia

Eligibility : Travel Channel Trivia (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry.

Promotion Period : The Sweepstakes begins on July 1, 2008 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (”ET”) and ends on September 30, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Promotion Period”).

Limit : Each participant may receive a maximum of two (2) entries per day during the Promotion Period.

Prize (s):

ONE (1) JULY GRAND PRIZE: A trip for two (2) to Costa Rica. Trip package includes roundtrip coach-class air transportation for two (2) from a major airport near winner’s home (determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to Costa Rica; four (4) nights accommodations at the Paradisus Playa Conchal (single room, double occupancy); roundtrip transportation from airport and hotel; a canopy tour for two (2); and an Arenal Volcano Magic of Nature excursion for two (2). Winner must complete travel on or before April 1, 2009 or prize will be forfeited. Trip must be booked at least ninety (90) days prior to departure. Approximate Retail Value (”ARV”): $5,586.

ONE (1) AUGUST GRAND PRIZE: A trip for two (2) to Vancouver and the Rockies. Trip package includes one-way coach-class air transportation for two (2) from a major airport near winner’s home (determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to Vancouver, Canada; four (4) nights accommodations at The Fairmont Waterfront (single room, double occupancy); roundtrip transportation from airport and hotel; $75 credit (per day) to be used towards food and beverages; one (1) day whale watching cruise to Victoria; two (2) day Rocket Mountaineer train package through the Rockies in GoldLeaf service with final destination in Calgary. Return flight will be one-way coach-class air transportation for two (2) from Calgary to airport new winner’s home (determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion). Winner must complete travel on or before September 12, 2009 or prize will be forfeited. Trip must be booked at least 90 days prior to departure. ARV: $6,999.

ONE (1) SEPTEMBER GRAND PRIZE: One (1) non-transferable vacation contract with Disney Vacation Club (a “Contract”). The Contract entitles the recipient to the use and enjoyment of two hundred twenty-five (225) Vacation Points per year (the “Vacation Point Allotment”) for two (2) years and three hundred sixty four (364) days in Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, a leasehold condominium. The Contract and the right to the use and enjoyment of the Vacation Point Allotment terminate two (2) years and 364 days after the date of the Contract (the “Contract Term”). The Vacation Point Allotment may be used by the winner, in accordance with the terms and restrictions of the Contract and subject to the Restrictions, to reserve, during the Contract Term, vacation accommodations at Disney Vacation Club Resorts or vacation accommodations available through the Disney Vacation Club Member Getaways program. The length of stay for any specific accommodations using the Vacation Point Allotment is based upon the resort, the type of accommodations reserved and the season. For example, the Winner can use the first year’s Vacation Point Allotment of 225 Vacation Points for a seven (7) night stay in a one-bedroom vacation villa at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort during the Dream Season, and the second year’s Vacation Point Allotment of 225 Vacation Points for a five (5) night stay in a two-bedroom vacation villa at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort during the Premier Season, and the third year’s Vacation Point Allotment of 225 Vacation Points for a seven (7) night stay in a one-bedroom vacation villa at Disney’s BoardWalk Villas during the Magic season. The number of Vacation Points required for any specific accommodations are subject to change. The winner will receive three Vacation Point Allotments, within thirty days of the Sweepstakes prize notification (“Award Date”), the first anniversary of the Award Date of the Contract and the second anniversary of the Award Date of the Contract. The first two Vacation Point Allotments can be used for accommodations occurring within twelve (12) months after the winner receives the Vacation Point Allotment and the last Vacation Point Allotment can be used for accommodations occurring within three hundred sixty four (364) days after the winner receives the last Vacation Point Allotment. Any portion of a Vacation Point Allotment not used within the applicable time shall automatically expire. Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort is located at the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The estimated retail value of the grand prize is $27,339.00, which includes (i) the estimated retail value of the accommodations that can be reserved and used by the winner of $12,873.00; (ii) the estimated retail value of exchange fees of $97.00, (iii) a $4,800 cash prize for vacation expenses, and (iv) a cash prize equal to $9,569.00 to help defray payment of any taxes payable as a result of winning the grand prize. All values are in U.S. dollars. All benefits and payments are personal to the winner and are neither assignable nor transferable. Terms and conditions of Contract apply. ARV: $27,339.
