McDonald’s Happy Meal Chef Contest

Eligibility : Open only to residents of the 50 United States and D.C. who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry and a parent or guardian with a child eight (8) to eleven (11) years of age at the time entry, both parent or guardian and child must have a valid passport prior to travel and both parent or guardian and child are able to travel internationally.

Promotion Period : Begins on March 5, 2012 at 12:01:00 AM Central Time (CT) and ends April 18, 2012 at 11:59:59 PM CT

Limit : Limit one (1) Submission per parent or guardian and child (“Family Team”) per e-mail address for the entire Contest Entry Period.

Prize (s) :

GRAND PRIZE: Ten (10) Grand Prizes are available for a trip for two (2) people for four (4) days and three (3) nights which could occur on any consecutive day between from July 27, 2012 through August 3, 2012 as defined by the Sponsor to the London 2012 Olympic Games and the opportunity for the winner to be one (1) of two (2) McDonald’s Happy Meal Chefs. Each Prize includes: round-trip, coach class air transportation for the winner and the child named in the Registration from the major United States gateway city airport closest to the winner’s residence (as determined by Sponsor) to London, England; ground transportation to and from airport to hotel and official Contest events; London 2012 Olympic Games event tickets to at least two (2) London 2012 Olympic Games events to be determined solely by Sponsor; standard double occupancy hotel accommodations for four (4) days and three (3) nights. Winners and their child must be able to travel on the specified dates or prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Total ARV of each Grand Prize: $5,000. Total combined ARV of all Grand Prizes: $50,000.

HAPPY MEAL CHEF EXPERIENCE GRAND PRIZE: Two (2) Happy Meal Chef Grand Prizes are available and include the following:

Grand Prize addition: The opportunity to participate in the McDonald’s Global Food Challenge event in London, England representing the United States on or about July 25, 2012 which will include an additional (2) days and one (1) night standard double occupancy hotel accommodations for two and ground transportation to and from hotel and official Contest events. Winners and their child must be able to travel on the specified dates or prize will be forfeited.

McDonald’s Headquarters Trip: Trip for two (2) for (2) days and (1) night which could occur on any consecutive days as determined by Sponsor between from September 1, 2012 through August 31, 2013 to Oak Brook, IL to visit the McDonald’s Corporate Offices. Each Prize includes for the winner and the child named in the Registration round-trip, coach class air transportation for the winner and the child named in the Registration from the major United States gateway city airport closest to the winner’s residence (as determined by Sponsor) to Chicago, Illinois ground transportation to and from airport to hotel and official Contest events; standard double occupancy hotel accommodations. Winner and their child must be able to travel on the dates specified by the Sponsor between from September 1, 2012 through August 31, 2013 or prize will be forfeited in its entirety.

Total ARV of each Happy Meal Chef Grand Prize: $2,500 Total combined ARV of all Happy Meal Chef Grand Prizes: $5,000.

Winner List : To receive an Official Winners List for the Contest, mail a self-addressed stamped envelope to: McDonald’s Happy Meal Chef Winners List Request, PO Box 25497, Rochester, NY 14625. The Winners List will be available in early June. The Winners List request must be received by August 24, 2012, and will be fulfilled following the awarding of prizes.
