Everything can happens.
I entered a contest once where you had to make a virtual paint job on a car.
I was selected for the voting phase and I found a way to vote more than once a day (refreshing the page you get after the vote…).
Each winner of the voting phase was winning an Ipod and the winner of the contest was winning the car.
It seems that an other guy also knew the refresh trick.
We both had hundreds of votes compared to others who had about 50-60
You know what ? I lost by 6 votes…:P
