AXE Study Abroad Sweepstakes and Contest

Eligibility :  The AXE Study Abroad Sweepstakes and Contest (collectively, the “Promotion”) is open only to males between 18 to 24 years of age who are both legal U.S. residents of the 50 United States (including District of Columbia), and full-time or part-time undergraduate students at an accredited American college or university during the Fall 2008 semester at time of entry.

Promotion Period : Between 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on December 5, 2008 and 11:59 p.m. ET on December 31, 2008 (the “Promotion Period”)

Limit :  Limit one (1) entry per person/email address.

Prize (s):

Four (4) Grand Prizes: A trip for the winner and up to three (3) guests to one (1) of three (3) destination options: Paris, France; Madrid, Spain; or Rome, Italy. Trip includes: (i) roundtrip coach-class airfare for the Grand Prize winner and up to four (4) guests (from airport near Grand Prize winner’s and/or guest’s hometown at time of entry as selected at the discretion of Sponsor; blackout dates do apply and include November 25, 2009 through November 29, 2009 and after December 14, 2009; tickets may include stopovers and/or connections); (ii) five (5) nights hotel accommodations (hotel to be determined at the discretion of Sponsor) in two (2) double occupancy rooms, excluding meals, room service, or other incidentals; (iii) ground transportation to and from airport and hotel; (iv) $500 spending money per traveler, awarded in the form of bank gift cards (gift cards to be determined at the discretion of Sponsor); (v) two (2) Marmot bags (model, make, size, color, and all other aspects of the bags to be determined at the discretion of the Sponsor); and (vi) one (1) AXE-branded Flip Mino Camcorder (camcorder, make, model, and all other aspects of camcorder to be determined at the discretion of the Sponsor). The estimated Actual Retail Value (“ARV”) of each Grand Prize is $13,079.
Each Grand Prize winner will also receive a single cash payment of $6,737.67 in the form of a corporate check, based on a 34% tax rate, which is intended to assist with any federal, state, or other tax obligations related to the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local income taxes and other taxes associated with the Grand Prize. The Sponsor will comply with all tax reporting requirements. The total ARV of each Grand Prize is $19,816.67.
