PolarPillow Review : If you are like me, you like finding cool spots on your pillow at night. Unfortunately, this freshness never last for a long time. What would you think if your entire pillow was cool ? And what would you say if this sensation was lasting all night long ? I know what I would say and it’s “PolarPillow” !

PolarPillow is a scientifically-formulated cooling pillow that uses specialized gel technology to generate coolness. What does that mean ? Well, PolarPillow is a pillow that stays fresh thanks to a special gel located inside of the pillow.
But don’t get me wrong here. The PolarPillow is not cool itself but it stays cool for hours. There’s a slight difference between both. When you find a cool spot on your regular pillow, your body heat will dissipate this coolness within seconds but the PolarPillow uses the coolness of ambient room temperature to dissipate body heat. This means that you’ll start to feel coolness within about 10 seconds after contact is made and it will last for hours (about 2 hours).

I tried it during several nights and it really works ! It kind of feels like one of those cold packs that we use to reduce muscle pain but in pillow size. You start to feel the coolness within seconds and your skin become cold within minutes. It’s really refreshing.

The sensation is similar to sleeping on a waterbed so you have to like this sensation to really appreciate it.
I have to admit that it’s not the most comfortable pillow I used in my life but it’s probably only due to the fact that I’m used to sleep with a bigger/softer pillow.
This pillow is not big but it is heavier than a normal pillow due to the weight of the liquid gel that keeps it cool.

But even if I don’t use it to sleep, the PolarPillow is a great option to keep you cool on warm days. I think it will be very useful on hot summer days.
