We know you have a Flair for good taste. No cracks. No crevices. Therefore, no abyss full of crumbs. This one-piece seat is the sleekest, smoothest thing going and it makes cleanup unbelievably easy. Its dishwasher-safe tray cover actually fits in a dishwasher. And the continuous height positioning with pneumatic lift is just a fancy way of saying you can pick the exact height you want to fit your table.

Flair, Pedestal Highchair with Pneumatic Lift Review :  The Boon Inc. Flair is a modern highchair with pneumatic lift that all moms will fall in love with because it has almost everything that moms are looking for when it comes to highchairs.

First of all, the one-piece seat. The seat is made in one-piece and it makes it ridiculously easy to clean. Just like the company is saying : “No cracks. No crevices. Therefore, no abyss full of crumbs.”
The only flaw from a cleaning point of view would be the five-point harness. Just like the other highchairs, that part often gets dirty and is often hard to wash but since it represent just a small part of the highchair, it’s not a big deal anyway. You will also find a removable waterproof pad that provide more confort for your kids while still being unbelievably easy to clean up !

The tray is smaller than most of highchairs but on the other hand, it makes it possible for the dishwasher-safe tray cover (two tray covers are included) to actually really fit in a dishwasher. I found it pretty useful to have two tray covers as you can switch from one to the other between services.
[A note on the tray covers : One of the tray had a Boon’s sticker glued on it that was particularly hard to remove.]
I also found the tray lock system brilliant. Kids can usually push the tray away pretty easily on most of highchairs but this one uses “hooks” to lock the tray in place which makes it nearly impossible for the kids to push it.

From a security point of view, the Flair won’t let you down either. There’s a five-point harness and safety post that will keep you child in place.
There’s also a single-step braking system that will make sure the highchair stays in place too. I found the braking system was not the most efficient I’ve seen as the highchair can still move on some surface (like wood flooring) but it does the job.

Beside the one-piece seat, one of my favorite feature on this highchair are the six urethane casters. Yes, urethane casters ! Not plastic wheels !
Not only those urethane casters won’t scratch your floor but they will also help you glide the Flair smoothly in all directions. Isn’t it great ?

Last but not least, the pneumatic lift. Do you know any other highchair using a pneumatic lift to help you pick the exact height you want to fit your table ? I don’t !
It’s easy as 1,2,3. To lower, you simply have to push the button on the base with your foot and push the seat down. To lift, just push the button on the base with your foot and the seat will lift by itself.
But what makes it really great is that you can choose ANY height between its lower position and its higher position.

Of course, the Flair is really great but it can’t be perfect either. Because of its one-piece seat and its pneumatic lift system, this highchair won’t fold so it might be a bit hard to store.
On the other hand, you can use it for a long time as its recommended weight limit is 50 lbs which makes it possible to use it with children up to 4 years old.
Once again, due to the pneumatic lift system, some might find it heavier than most of highchairs. This is the price to pay to have a fancy way for an effortless continuous height positioning.

Despite those few drawbacks, the Flair is unquestionably a unique highchair and a must-have if you are looking for a great highchair with a modern design. Especially if don’t like to spend hours cleaning after meal time.

Pros
+ Beautiful modern design
+ One-piece seat
+ Pneumatic lift
+ Urethane casters

Cons
– Heavy
– Expensive
