Please read the contest rules before trying to enter. If your residence is not up to their standards you will not even be considered for the Grand Prize. They are looking for a picture perfect party and most of our residences will not qualify. I live on a horse ranch, not a lavish one just a small older country home on a gravel drive. I don’t have a manicured lawn and no money to make my house presentable for the cameras so my family is just not good enough for The Weather Channel’s Sweepstakes. If I had the money to own a nice fancy home I wouldn’t need to try to win a Christmas party, I could just host one for one myself or pay to have one at my country club. I am sad and disappointed that a site i visit almost every day to schedule work and transportation is not having a sweepstakes aimed at it’s prime audience, the farmers, construction workers, or anyone working in the out of doors. We don’t make the kind of money it would take to own a home up to their party standards. If you are as insulted as I am, write a letter. I did. Or just pass this along to anyone who relies on the weather and uses their site. I am ending all my subscriptions and looking for another site for my weather needs.
