Lowe’s $50,000 Dream Kitchen Sweepstakes
Eligibility : To be eligible to enter or win, entrant must be an individual 18 years of age or older who has reached the age of majority in his or her state of residence, and who is a legal resident of and owner of a home in the 50 United States (includes the District of Columbia) at time of entry and prize distribution.
Promotion Period : Between 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on January 25, 2012 and 11:59 p.m. ET on February 13, 2012

One (1) Grand Prize: (Grand Prize winner may choose one of the prize options below).
Grand Prize Option #1: $50,000 Kitchen Makeover: Includes $25,000 worth of kitchen products from Lowe’s® awarded in the form of Lowe’s® Gift Cards and $25,000 in remodeling and design services by Houzz that will include design, construction, and installation services. Design services will be selected at the discretion of the Co-Sponsors with a designer nearest the winner’s home. Lowe’s® Gift Cards are subject to state and federal regulations and are redeemable for merchandise only unless prohibited by law and cannot be used to make payments on any charge/credit account. Lowe’s® Gift Cards may be redeemed online and have no expiration date.
Grand Prize Option #2: $40,000 Kitchen Makeover and $10,000 cash: Includes $20,000 worth of kitchen products from Lowe’s® awarded in the form of Lowe’s® Gift Cards, $20,000 in remodeling and design services by Houzz that will include design, construction, and installation services, and $10,000 cash awarded in the form of a corporate check intended to be used for tax expenses. Design services will be selected at the discretion of the Co-Sponsors with a designer nearest the winner’s home. Lowe’s® Gift Cards are subject to state and federal regulations and are redeemable for merchandise only unless prohibited by law and cannot be used to make payments on any charge/credit account. Lowe’s® Gift Cards may be redeemed online and have no expiration date.
Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each Grand Prize Option is $50,000.

We need more kitchen area room in our Florida home. We have the usual Great room/kitchen/living room/diningroom “open concept” floor plan. Yes, we see out, but everyone sees IN.
We have little storage area in the kitchen. People come in and sit at the kitchen counter. This leaves them looking into my sink and at the dish detergent and hand sanitizers and hand soaps. Not nice for anyone — and, they watch every move that I make in the kitchen. Along with extra cabinet space and some privacy, we could use a double level counter top.
Walking through Lowes I see that you sell all the ideas for our kitchen update. Please help.

I would LOVE to win, you would love to have my kitchen challenge. It is 1969, still original cabinets, very small, and in great need of a makeover. It is only 8X8..HELP I need room to cook with my Hubby. You cannot open the fridge and dishwasher at the same time. We have a wall that could be knocked down to create more space.

My kitchen is still has the original white metal cabinets, the double wide porcelin sink with sideboards and a red tile floor that more than likely contains asbestos. I haven’t any counter space to perform the prep for cooking, nor is there enough storage. I had an energy audit and had insulation blown into the walls, however the cabinet contents are so cold. The drafts coming in from the where the wall and sink abut is chilling. It is horrible :). I removed one base cabinet so I could ‘add’ a dishwasher. I am hoping to win this contest, using only enough money to have a nice, workable kitchen, then donating the rest so another family can have a renovation also.
