Eligibility : Open only to legal residents of the U.S. and its territories, possessions and commonwealths who are 21 years of age or older as of April 12, 2012
Promotion Period : Beginning at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on April 12, 2012 until 5:00 p.m. ET on June 1, 2012

Limit : Limit one (1) online entry on the HGTV Website, per valid email address, per eligible person per day
Prize (s) :
Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize Winner shall win the Grand Prize which consists of: (i) the home located in Serenbe, Georgia (the “HGTV Green Home”) that is featured in the “HGTV Green Home” special (including home furnishings and merchandise as determined by Main Sponsor in cooperation with the Participating Product Sponsors and installed prior to conveyance) (approximate retail value (“ARV”): $650,000); (ii) One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) (awarded in the form of a check or a wire transfer) (the “Cash Prize”); and (iii) a 2012 GMC Terrain automobile (ARV: $38,535) (the “GMC Prize”).
In lieu of taking title to the HGTV Green Home (and the contents of the HGTV Green Home), the Grand Prize Winner will have the option of receiving $400,000 in cash in lieu of the home (the “Cash Option”).
Total ARV of Grand Prize is $788,535 if Grand Prize Winner takes title to the HGTV Green Home or $538,535 if Grand Prize Winner selects the cash option in lieu of taking title to the HGTV Green Home.
Weekly Prizes: Seven (7) Weekly Prize Winners shall win the Weekly Prize, which is a Moen® Envi® Rainshower Showerhead (ARV: $213.00).
Winner List : Beginning on or about August 21, 2012 you may obtain the name of the Grand Prize Winner and Weekly Prize Winners either by going to the Websites (www.hgtv.com and http://www.hgtvremodels.com/) or mailing a self-addressed stamped envelope to: “HGTV Green Home Giveaway – Winner’s List, PO Box 52612, Knoxville, TN 37950”. Requests received after September 8, 2012 will not be honored.

Ok so im happy for the lady that won but I think it should of went to some one that dont have a nice home r nice car already. I didnt enter I knew I didnt have a chance to win but im poor I make 8 an hour I live an a apt with nothin in it everything I have it was gave to me I have 97 honda with ex miles and no window!! I love my life and my 3 year old daughter wouldnt change it for nothin. I love hgtv I love lookin at homes that I would never have!! But the next home I think should go to a family in need of one thanks!!

An eco friendly home would be truly a blessing from above been living in a city Shelter with my children and my husband and I for almost 3 years been praying to God each and everyday that he sees us threw these difficult times my husband is the only one working ever since I ve been diagnosed with hyper active thyroid and lymphoma but were o.k and God has been good to us so we can’t complain but a home would be really really nice. Thank you for taking the time to read this from me to you from the walls of the inside of city shelter ( the briarwood)

my name is Wilfredo I be been working since I was 13 got with the mother of my children when I was 17 been with her ever since going on 20 years but the struggle to keep up with rent has become sort of a struggle land it us in a family shleter where things aren’t looking any better and our way of getting out of this place is looking dimmer with no light at the end of the tunnel but we are true believers in God and I know hell make a way but for now ill continue to work and keep my family above water to survive this cloud that hangs over our heads and pray that one day we. Can own our eco friendly.
