Eligibility : The HGTV Dream Home Giveaway 2009 is open only to legal residents of the U.S. and its territories, possessions and commonwealths (excluding Puerto Rico) who are 21 years of age or older as of January 1, 2009. Void in Puerto Rico, outside the U.S. and where prohibited by law.

Promotion Period : HGTV Dream Home Giveaway 2009 begins at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (”ET”) on January 1, 2009 and ends at 5:00 p.m. ET on February 19, 2009 (the “Sweepstakes Period”)

Limit : Limit one (1) online entry, per valid email address, per eligible person per day

Prize (s):

Grand Prize:
One (1) Grand Prize Winner shall win the Grand Prize consisting of the home in Sonoma, California (the “HGTV Dream Home”) that is featured in the “HGTV Dream Home” special, plus home furnishings, merchandise, an automobile, and a “doggie dream home” for the Grand Prize Winner’s dog.

The home is valued at approximately $1,800,000 (includes structure, lot, and landscaping) as of November 2008.
The home furnishings, merchandise, and the automobile consist of:
(i) furniture and accessories (Approximate Retail Value (”ARV”): $200,000);
(ii) a 2009 GMC® Acadia (ARV: $49,450);
and
(iii) an HGTV Doggie Dream Home (ARV: $3,000).

Total ARV of Grand Prize is $2,052,450.

HGTV is almost the only tv channel i watch when i watch tv. It makes my day more pleasureable.

HELLO FRIENDS AT HGTV ,ONCE AGAIN YOU HAVE OUT DID YOURSELVES BY SHOWING YOUR SKILLS AND TALENT NOT TO MENTION ALL THE DETAILED CRAFTSMANSHIP ITS ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO WATCH ALL YOUR SHOWS AND HOW YOU IMPACT SO MANY LIVES THIS HOME IS BY FAR SO BEAUTIFUL THIS WOULD BE A TRUE DREAM COME TRUE FOR OUR FAMILY AND DOG MY HUSBAND HAS BEEN EMPLOYED FOR OVER 11 YRS WITH GALLO WINE CO. thats funny its totally not extreme home makeover! its a drawing for crying out loud!someone with good jobs has just as much right to win it as someone who is homeless useing the library computer! good luck everyone, but I think its coming to me……heee….heee

I can;t believe i’m entering a sweepstakes, since i lost my husband of 43 years, a year and a half ago, i have been so depressed i don’t even want to leave the house .My husband passed away here and I found him ,he passed in his sleep,he was only 64,…..We were always planning to move to Arizona,we never got the chance..My daughter has been here for me,with her daughter,they have been a blessing.
Also I just lost my 12 year old poodle,he passed away with heart promblems…Again my daughter stayed with me …..If i were to win this home i would be able to fullfill my dream and my daughter and my granddaughter would be able to also live their dream….we could live making new memories together…
In October i had back surgery,in December i had another knee replacment…and she came to stay and take care of me,She i still out of work with no job in sight…….I so glad i heard about this sweepstake…..

If i won it couldn’t be at a better time. I have a sick son and $70,000.00 in Dr;s bills. Im getting divorsed and plan on moving to Florida to be near my daughter who is also struggling with student loans.
