Shell Fuel For a Year Promotion

Eligibility : Open to legal U.S. residents residing in the United States and the District of Columbia (excluding New Jersey, Virginia AND Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and other U.S. territories and possessions) who are eighteen (18) years of age at time of entry and possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Promotion Period : Starts at 12:00:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on October 1, 2013 and closes at 11:59:59 PM ET on December 31, 2013 (the “Promotion Period”).

Limit : Limit of one (1) Registration Entry per person for the entire Promotion Period; and limit one (1) Daily Entry per person, per Day during the Promotion Period for a maximum total of ninety-six (96) Entries into the Promotion.

Prize (s) :

There is one (1) Grand Prize available to be won, consisting of Free Shell Gasoline for One (1) year for the Grand Prize winner and five (5) friends. Approximate retail value of Free Shell Gasoline for one (1) person for one (1) year is $2,494.39 (USD). The Grand Prize is calculated on the average consumer’s yearly gasoline consumption of six hundred and thirty-six (636) gallons (4.5 fuel purchases per month multiplied by 11.77 gallons of gasoline per purchase multiplied by twelve (12) months) per year and at the present-day $3.922(US) per gallon (consistent with the U.S Department of Energy statistics for regular grade gasoline as of September 9, 2013). Fluctuations in gasoline prices after September 9, 2013 will not affect the calculation of the Grand Prize amount. The Grand Prize will be rounded up to the next fifty and be awarded in the form of fifty (50) $50.00 (US) Shell Gift Cards for the winner and his/her five (5) friends which may be used for the purchase of gasoline. The approximate retail value of each portion of the Grand Prize for the winner and his/her five (5) friends are $2,500 each; and the total approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is $15,000(USD).
