General Mills Family Dollar Save Cash Win Cash

Eligibility : General Mills Family Dollar Save Cash Win Cash (the “Promotion”) is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (including District of Columbia) who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry.

Promotion Period : The General Mills Family Dollar Save Cash Win Cash begins on February 1, 2009 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on January 31, 2010 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Promotion Period”).

How To Enter : During the Promotion Period, visit www.familydollar.com and fill out the online entry form. Complete and submit the online entry form including a valid home address. P.O. Boxes are not permitted. You automatically will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes and advance to the Instant Win Game page and receive one (1) Instant Win Game play for that day. Once on the Instant Win Game page, follow the links and instructions to play the Instant Win Game. The Instant Win Game results will be instantly displayed. Potential winners of the Instant Win Game will be provided directions for validation. All potential winners are subject to verification before any prize will be awarded.

Limit : Each participant may enter/play one (1) time per day, regardless of method of entry, during the Promotion Period.

Sweepstakes Prize:
ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: $5,000.

Instant Win Game Prizes:
TWO HUNDRED (200) $100 PRIZES: $100.
FIVE HUNDRED (500) $50 PRIZES: $50.

Found $5 Discover card in Cherrios, tried to activate at: http://www.generalmills.com/wincash .
Wouldn’t go there and after much search couldn’t find. Did find others in same situation.
Very disappointed. Please advise.

went to this website like told and cant figure out how to activate it for the 5.00 it says that you can get .my son found it in a box of cocoa puffs.he really would like to use this card .if u coud tell me how to do this i would greatly appreciate it .thank you.

I have enter the security code on the back of the card and it indicates it is incorrect. I am positive I have entered the correct 3 digit code.

I am unable to activate my discover card. I tried the address in the answers on this page and the address was not available. I have spent quite a bit on time for this $5 and do not appreciate this set up. I would assume most would give up at some point, which may be your intent. It does not leave a good feeling about General Mills.

After supposedly activating card, tried to use it at Target. Card not valid. Who has so much time on their hands to spend redeeming a $5 card? Many of us, it seems.

Went into activate card, put the card numbers on then it wanted a code from the box, I tore the box apart trying to find it, also looked in the foil it was wrapped in. Where is it? It would seem to me if the numbers off the card are correct, it should go threw, after all I don’t think even a genius could figure out that many numbers to fraud the company for $5.00.

I went to all three websites I was directed to. They all look the same. I cannot find out how to activate this card. My son really wants to use it. He’s all excited about using his own card at the toy store. We would call but it’s the weekend.

This is a joke, went to the web site,them I went to the other one like everyone else and it is the same thing as the first one. As a long time discover member I will take this up with them. I am sure they will be very happy to know you are dragging them into this scam.

I went to the website and logged in un der my sons birthday, it told me wrong card #. I went back and logged in with my birthday and it worked! I think it has to be someone 18 and up since its money.

Visit http://www.generalmills.com/wincash.
Once on the site, you’ll have to click on the ACTIVATE CARD button and follow the instructions.
Once you entered your date of birth, you’ll find a form where you’ll have to enter your name, email, card number and security number.

The information I write here are the ones I have found in the official rules.
I’m not in contact with anybody at GeneralMills so I’m doing my best to find the information that could help you all. I can’t say if it works because I don’t have any of these cards but it appears to be the way to activate your cards.

I was able to activate my card but everytime I try to use it it is decline. I also look now my balance says nothing in it how can that be it was declined everytime.
