I USED TO HAVE A BEAUTIFUL BACKYARD WITH A POOL BUT DUE TO UNDERGOING TREATMNET OF THREE CANCERS I WAS NOT ABLE TO KEEP UP WITH MY BACKYARD. WE COVERED OUR POOL AND THE BACKYARD NOW IS LIKE A JUNGLE. AFTER MY TREA\TMENT LAST NOVEMBER I AM TRYING TO CLEAN UP MY BACKYARD. I RETIRED TOTALLY WITH MY JOB AS A SHERIF DEPUTY LAST MARCH 2017. I HOPE TO GET BACK TO MY GARDENING BECAUSE I LOVE WORKING OUTSIDE . I HOPE TO WIN THE SWEEPSTAKES SO THAT I CAN ENJOY IT AND MY 70TH BIRTHDAY WILL BE IN JUNE..

I see so much potential for the property I just purchased 5 months ago but can’t do it alone. I am 63, have moved to an area where I literally know no one but the realtor and just can’t seem to get much done. One month ago my dog broke my toe so I had to stop working hard in my yard. Then 2 weeks ago while picking up sticks in my backyard my neighbors dog attacked me in my own yard. Again I am sidelined with multiple bites and 2 fractured bones in my hand. Help, I really could use the help getting my yard squared away. Desperate…

My son and his wife purchased her grandfather’s home. They are trying a little at a time to renovate it. Due to the lack of care and the nature of her grandfather’s health the yard is a true disaster. They are trying to get it at least under control but I can honestly say it is an overwhelming project.
This before and after not only would make for a great show but would allow their family of 2 boys, 4 girls have a great space to play and enjoy with all the family.

My husband and built our dream home in Garden Ridge, Texas after I retired from the Army. We divorced shortly afterward and I could not afford the home by myself. I moved into a smaller home that had been rented for years. The yard looks terrible and is the worst on the block. I would love this makeover so my home won’t be the neighborhood eyesore,

We live in the Trinity Mountains of, Trinity Co., Burnt Ranch, Calif. . on 10 acres at 2000 ft. Here since 1995, we are 67yo. Married 46 years. We have a very difficult slope that con’t. to slide a bit every winter, I have tried planting it, but it is made of clay/rock/lime soil. Our land ranges from 1500 ft. to 2000 ft .and heavily wooded. I really like flower and veg. gardening; and would like to terrace the slope and stabilize it. The rest of the yard needs organization so I can water with more ease and conservation. I just don’t have the resources or know how. Please help.

I am the luckiest person on earth, having survived cancer 25 years ago and another type 4 years ago! Priorities in my life became crystal clear. I have been blessed to have had to help raise 2 boys, now adults. But because of my previous career I worked too many hours and lost so much precious time with the boys.
12 yrs ago I got full custody as a single dad of my young son at 2 yrs old (now 14 yrs old).
I worked to adopt my son’s sister (since age 5, now 11) out of foster care for over 2 years, but the system is slow and since i wasn’t her “birth dad” we went through so much. First I needed a house with a bedroom for my daughter (bought “Kayla’s House” a fixer upper that was nasty & worked day & night to get it ready to become her foster dad). My dreams came true 5 years ago when our adoption was completed.
I am always working on the house, but haven’t been able to spend time or $ on the yard.
I just want a home that the kids are proud of- they deserve it.

I am a grandmother of Grandchildren, a granddaughter that has austism. To have a backyard that is suitable for her and the others be able to come outside and enjoy would indeed be great. I have a problem with stray dogs getting into the yard, especially pit bulls. To be able for us to enjoy our backyard would be a blessing to our family. We have not been able to afford to get the yard done like we want it. Help us to get our yard completed.

We’ve lived in our house since 1977 & have never landscaped our big back yard (due to various health issues), so it’s a muddy mess in the winter & dry & weedy in the summer. We have super hot summers, so it’d be nice to finally have a pretty yard to enjoy in our retirement. It’d truly be a dream come true!!

I am one of many Veterans that suffer with PTSD. WE thought that after our remodel, that we would have enough money to do are backyard. Ok you guessed it. we didn’t. If there is anyway that we can get some help for are backyard that would be great. You see, 2 yrs ago our oldest daughter passed away due to a illness and her 3 kids our grandkids came to live with us, which has been great. Then 2 months later during the fire that swiped through are town of Santa Rosa Ca, I was having chest pain and ended up having heart surgery, then to back matters worst in July of 2018 our grandkids father was ran over and killed, so need less to say are past 2 yrs have been rough for us all. “PLEASE” if you can help us out with a new backyard that would be wonderful. Thanks from the Delgado Family.

We live in the south very humid but we learn to work in the heat My back yard needs help. It was almost 30 years ago my husband put a pool in Today the pool i keep water clean for grandkids BUT it needs TLC the brick around pool is breaking upon sections i have blue painter tape with X’s so grandkids DONT go on X because brick edge is cracking I know I have a small leak because water level drops too much each day and every night hose goes in the pool ( making water bill too much for me at this point) Its just old i have some over grown trees that need to go and need an good area that doesn’t leak so bad when it rains to let kids eat Im 62 july 12 and i work 4 jobs ( since becoming a widow) $ only goes so far My grandkids are small and live close and i want this area nice and safe for them to enjoy . With money being tight vacations are not an option, so swimming in back yard is their vacation I watch all the transformations y’all do and I it is unbelievable what it looks like when y’all are done I want to cry when i watch the shows on tv and its not even my house I would be so humble and beyond words to have help. Thank you my back yard is beyond desperate
