Apts.com announced the finalists for the Roommate of the Year Contest. There are 10 finalists total and you can check them out at: www.roommateoftheyear.com

Eligibility : The Contest is open only to natural persons who are legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Tennessee, U.S. territories and U.S. military installations), who are at least 18 years of age as of April 26, 2010 and who meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein and have read and agreed to these Official Rules (“Entrants”). Void in Alaska, Hawaii, Tennessee, U.S. territories, U.S. military installations, and where prohibited by law. To be eligible, the Entrant (alternately, “You”, “Your”, or “Yourself”) must be: (1) currently paying rent, or (2) currently looking for an apartment to rent, as of Your date of entry in the Contest, and (3) have not previously been a Grand Prize winner in the Roommate Of The Year contest.

Promotion Period : Begins on Monday, April 26, 2010 @ noon ET and ends on Monday, June 14, 2010 at midnight ET

Limit : One entry per person.

Prize (s):

One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a single check for $20,000.00. Grand Prize value: $20,000.00.

Four (4) Runner-Up Winners each will receive a check for $500.00. Total value of all runner-up winner prizes: $2,000.00.

Winners : The Prize Winners will be posted on http://www.roommateoftheyear.com between August 1 and December 31, 2010. To receive the list of Prize Winners, send a request with a stamped, self-addressed envelope before September 15, 2010 to: Apartments.com Roommate Of The Year Contest, Attn: T.
