i have a been trying to claim my prize for the m&m reunite and phone number is busy i do it online and its not going thru . how am i supose to claim my prize .

I got through on the phone, but when I entered my information into the Required area’s. I get a pop up that says Hey Winner you did not enter your information. Someone really needs to fix the site. It looks as though I’m not the only one having problems collecting a prize. In my case, I have a 14-digit code because the missing number is under the sealed edge of the M&Ms bag. I have tried to unseal that edge but it is impossible. How am I supposed to provide this missing number ??

Very disappointing. The problems still exist. You enter all the required fields and it comes up saying you didn’t and you cannot get past that point in the process. Three times I filled in all of the required fields to receive the free package of M&M’s, my prize, and I kept getting the message that all the required fields were not entered. I had checked the box stating that I read the rules. I even tried checking the M&M’s communications box even though I didn’t want to receive their communications. Please correct your prize entry form.

Every one that has a winning ticket should stop buying any Mars Chocolate until the company fixes this problem it looks like it been going on for a couple of months, any reputable company doing a contest would have.
Or are they worried about giving out free candy coupons and losing money.

I Won a lousy single bag of M&M’s single size package and i filled out all the info. but there was no place to click to get to the next page to put my address so they can send me the prize. I bought a number of bags of m&m chocolate pretzels in the last month or two looking for the characters. I just bought two bags last week in September. I looked inside and outside of every bag I bought. I even cut the bag open very carefully. Then somebody said, you have to look very carefully inside the bag. They showed me one of their bags, and showed me where to look. So I looked in the two bags I bought last week, guess what their they were. My 10yr old just bought (today) October 9, 2011 a bag of M&M’s at Walmart and found out he is a winner. I too purchased a pack of M&M’s yesterday here in Chicago and opened the bag to find I “reunited” the characters with the words CONGRATULATIONS emblazoned underneath the characters! I was so excited with tears because that $100,000 is needed so bad!!!! When I tried to redeem with the codes, I saw the phone number didn’t work and the site was not loading. Then I looked at the fine print to find a company contact address and number and saw the dayum contest ended 2 months ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am beyond devastated, I am upset and embarassed because I told my close friends about my good fortune and how I will be able to help my family and friends with bills.
I will be contacting the media and attorney general about this.

When I went to the web site, only then did I find out that the contest had ended on 9/30/11. Disappointed to say the least about not winning but also to the fact that the candy is still on the shelf. I actually just opened a bag of M&M’s and noticed this contest ended 3 months ago, but I noticed first the phone number they want you to call has to many letters and therefore is an invalid phone number. I then noticed as I read through all the terms and conditions that it actually says that the company is not responsible for people that cannot claim their prize due to errors with the phone, computers, etc. It then says that anyone trying to test the legitimacy of the contest could be subject to legal fees, etc. Wow-M&M’s what a disappointment. I bet nobody won anything!!

I won too. Where’s the attorney general when you need them? I will just have to check into this in the morning! Just can’t believe that m&m is scamming there customers!!! Shocked!!

On December 8, 2011 I purchased a family bag of M&M. Once I got home I found that I was a winner, but once I got to looking closer, I noticed it had expired on 09-30-2011. Not sure if this is something that was held back in the ware house until it expired or if another problem came up causing this product to delay making it to the shelf. I to got all the characters together. This is a big scam…… It’s not fair to all of us who got all of the characters together. We should do a class action lawsuit against M & M.

It is pretty sad they are still selling the m&m’s that still have the contest on them. When a contest is over they should collect all the packages with them on. Your contest for the 100,000 ended in 2011, but the stores are still selling the candy pakages. I found the characters together. If you have a contest you should stop selling pakages to the stores. I think its unfair if someone like me has a winning wrapper and its now 2/2012. To me I think the whole contest is crap. You should know people will buy your products even witout a contest.

Would anyone believe that I called the company three or four times requesting a winners list, and they keep lying saying that they sent me one. This disgusts me. Especially from such a wealthy and constantly growing company. Going through these posts, it’s just plain evil to see how many winners “by coincidence” also found winning tickets after the contest expired.

We also came across bags of the candy in which we had a possible winner and found out the game was expired. We called the Mars corporation and come to find out the candy is also expired. Everyone should call the Mars corporation and file a complaint call 800 627-7852 wait for the prompt and press to talk to a representative and adress the issue. Our family has come up ill around the same time as the candy was consumed so we are debating taking legal action seeing that we consumed expired product.

On April 26th 2012, my boyfriend and I purchased the winning bag from CVS. Imagine our surprise when we looked inside and saw congratulations and all 5 characters. After reading the rules and seeing that the contest expired more than 6 months prior to our purchase our cheers were quickly deflated. Additionally I had no success trying to call the numbe on the bag. Instead I get a message saying tranasfering you to an operator but instead am fed into an automated voice system for some 411 information service. The website to claim the prize is no longer up either. So I just wanted to say THANKS for NOTHING and I won’t be eating year old peanut M&M’s anymore. Glad to see im not the only disappointed person when i found out that my winning bag wasn’t worth anything. bought mine 04/27/2012. and we also got all excited just to find out you cant get through. I think if there are plenty of bags out there with prizes that aren’t claimed then why end the game?

My 10 year old grandson was so excited about getting the five M&M caracters offer on the inside of his candy. However, When he read the instructions inside and figured out that it had expired on 9/30/11. He was sick he said to think of all things his candy was definetly over a year old and thats gross. It’s not often that a person wins & loses all in one shot. We just purchased eight 2.83oz bags of peanut butter M&M’s at the end of Easter. We just got around to opening the 6th bag, and finally WE WON! After carefully inspecting & reading the FINE print below the congratulating picture we find that the contest was over LAST YEAR. The strangest thing about all of this was the M&M’s were fresh, and not stale as if they were a year old. Sounds like fraud to us and everyone we’ve talked too. After reading through all of these unhappy comments before me it looks like nobody is happy and M&M’s screwed at least 435 other people who were also all unlucky winners as well!

Well My local store just started selling these sweepstakes packages a few days ago, and when my kids find a winning package I notice this sweepstakes expired a year ago, WHAT THE HELL. If the sweepstakes ended a year ago TAKE THE PACKAGES OFF THE MARKET. Sounds like fraud to me too, Apparently M&M is trying to find a cheep ploy to sell their product, I think me and all the other winner should be compensated, honer our winning packages would be nice!!!!! Looks like I’m joining the long list of ripped off customers. I bought a bag of M&M’s on September 18/2012 which said I was a winner. Using the phone number on the package I was connected to a whole bunch of other companies trying to sell me various things(i tried a bunch of times). Then I went to the website & saw a long list of comments from people who apparantly encountered similar problems.

I personally found this to be a very disgusting experience with what I always believed to be a reputable business.

I have four questions:

1. how old was the package of M&M’s I have eaten when the expirey date on the contest was approximately a year ago?
2. why give people a phone number that doesn’t connect to the correct place?
3. is this a legitimate contest or a scam?
4. did I really win a prize of some kind?

Please be assured that I will never by another product from your company again for as long as I live.

As of today October 18, 2012, I purchased a package of m&ms at a local convience store. As I opened the package I realized that I was a winner of the reuniting the characters. This product should not have been on the store shelves a year later. This product should not still be circulating, it should have been taken of shelves within a few months, but a year is unacceptable. Something should be done to compensate this unfortunate situation. I don’t mean that I want a t-shirt either. Your packaging does not state about other prizes it just says find the characters and you could win $100,000. I see many people complaing n they won in the duration of the contest. I would like to be contacted via email or I will be contacting my attorney for false advertisment and hving products being allowed on your selves that could possibly make me sick because of being over a year old. I will not be letting this situation go.

This is ridiculous. My 5 yr old daughter just used her own money she has worked hard for to buy a bag of m&ms, She bought them because of the contest she seen on the outside of the wrapper.
