Microsoft Windows 7 Code 7 Contest
Eligibility : You are eligible to enter the Microsoft Windows 7 Code 7 Contest if you are a technology student, professional or enthusiast at least 18 years of age or older. If you are 18 years of age or older, but are considered a minor in your place of residence, you should ask your parent’s or legal guardian’s permission prior to submitting an entry into this Contest
Promotion Period : The Microsoft Windows 7 Code 7 Contest starts at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) on July 13, 2009, and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on October 10, 2009 (“Entry Period”).
How To Enter : To enter, visit www.code7contest.com and follow instructions to register and upload your video.
Limit : Up to three Entries per person, however, each Entry must be substantially unique as determined in the judge’s sole discretion.
Prize (s):
- A Code7 Award; and
- $ 1,000 Cash, paid in the form of a check from the Sponsor or an American Express gift card
- A Code7 Award; and
- A laptop computer
- A Code7 Award; and
- An invitation and travel* to present their application at PDC09 in Los Angeles, CA; and A copy of Windows 7 Ultimate signed by a Microsoft VP
- $7,777 Cash Award paid in the form of a check from the Sponsor or an American Express gift card
- $17,777 Cash Award paid in the form of a check from the Sponsor or an American Express gift card; and
- The opportunity to discuss your application with Microsoft executives at PDC09; and
- Winners video will be featured on MSDN Channel 9 and promoted on various Microsoft portals; and
- An invitation to visit the Microsoft Campus in Redmond, WA, to meet members of the Windows 7 development team (winner is responsible for all travel related costs)
Winners : The names of winners will be posted online at www.Code7Contest.com. This list will remain posted one month after November 20, 2009.
