I don’t have the box either and would like to activate the card. Why don’t the stated web addresses work? This seems like a lot of hassle for $5.00, but try to tell that to a kid!

I was finally able to activate my card by using http://www.sweepstakeslovers.com/cash/general-mills-big-g-cash-card-giveaway/. Click on the “You’ve won a cash card”logo at top and it will take you to the activation screen. Good luck!!!

I activated my card with no problem and when I check the amount via the website it verifies I have $5 on it. However, when I tried to use it a Target, they said there wasn’t anything on it. What else do I need to do?

is there a pin number on the card couse i tried to use it al family dollar and they said if it dont have an pin number we can have it used here

I won a $5 card tried to use it a few times to no avail, now balance is $3 and still no luck(except for accually winning the card that is). Anyway $3 is still enough to buy something on ebay(gotta love free shipping). How do I use this “Discover Network” card online. I always get a billing address error. Any help would be great.

I just purchased a couple of Totino’s Crisp Crust Party Pizza. It read on the back : $25,000 Grand Prize “You could WIN CASH!.However, I found no place to enter the UPC code but the one on this box is: 42800 11600. I always pick up my Cheerios 2 packs at a time but I never thought to read what ’s on or in the box as I’ve been doing it for so long. After finding the site to activate a half hour later and then putting in the required information, the system just happens to be “unavailable.” I’m so sick of these so called “prizes” that can’t even be redeemed. General Mills should be ashamed.

I just recieved a $5 card and activated it with no problems. I also read the back of the card and it says that when you go to use the card that you need to tell them to ring up as a credit purchase and NOT debit that way you don’t have to have a PIN.

Went to the website to activate my $5 card . I had no trouble doing this in about 2 or 3 minutes .

umm i got my 5 doller card activated but where can i spend it at?

You can use your card anywhere that they take Discover. Example: Wal Mart, Targert, Brookshires, the gas station………………..

Dont ask them if they take a Sweepstakes cereal card Just ask if they take Discover and then run it just like a credit sign and go. My 11 year old had no problem uning it at wal mart and the Dollar general and at Brookshires.

After reading all the comments, I see I am NOT ALONE in not being able to activate the 5 dollar card. Do we need to run it as a credit card instead of a debit after we FINALLY get it activated? I was one that never did find the activate card instruction, just a bunch of crap for more “free” stuff. Looking like a gimmick to me!!!!!!!

Every one is having problems getting this $5 card to work! I follow the directions but it takes you to another site ( not general mills ). If you’re going to give money away then you should think about going a head and releasing it to the people. Make it easy not hard! Mine is still not working! Thanks

I tried for two days to activate this card at this website. I was told that I had an invalid card each time I tried to activate it. Since I got this card in a box of Cherios, how could it be an invalid card ?

After clicking several of the the links that popped up with generalmills.com/win I hit TPG Activations
and there was the card size Activate button. It requested my dateof birth I entered and waited as it processed for five mintues. While waiting I called the 800 number on the card and was Activated in one mintue.

I couldn’t find the ” ACTIVATE CARD ” button on the website so I just called the # on the back of the card . Took about 30 seconds. Very complicated for a cereal box kids prize. Shame on General Mills

took awhile to find the site but once found it was a breeze. just remember it’s not a debet card and to hit the activate button. u don’t need a number cause it’s not a debit card it’s like a charge card.
