I was born on 22 January 1948 on main street in Chattanooga, Tennessee. There was five children in our family. Shirley, Joyce, johnny, Rosie, and Tommy. My name is Joyce Howard at that time. We moved into the Boonehysinger Courts during my first six years of school. I went to Mary Ann Garber from first to fifth grade and then to Avondale for six grade. After that I went to Hardy Jr. High ninth grade. I went to Kirkman in the 10th and quit school and went to work in a resturant. From there I work in a factory for three years. I met and Married Steve Forrester and we have been married 43 years now. Have four grandchildren, two boys and two girls. When i was 32 I went into the United States Air Force Reserve and spent six years in the USAFR. I was in the medical field and personnel. I worked for the civil service for 10 years in civilian personnel. My husband retired from USAF after 22 years of service in 1991. From there we moved back to Chattanooga, Tennessee and live in Decatur, Tennessee for 20 years now. I am 63 years old now and been drinking sodas since I was 12 years old. I started drinking Diet Dr. Pepper when I was about 33 years old and it is my favorite. I am writing this to put my grandchildren in college. My oldest is going to Universary of Tennessee UTC and we don’t have much money for his college and truition. This would be a 63 year old grandmothers dream to be able to help him through college. i pray you would consider my request. Thanks for all the help you have given kids an college education. Joyce Forrester
