The DG 300 Toyota Tundra Showdown Sweepstakes

Eligibility : To enter the DG 300 Toyota Tundra Showdown Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”), you must (a) be a lawful permanent resident of the fifty (50) United States or District of Columbia; and (b) be of legal age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence (and at least 18 years of age or older in the US) at the time of entry. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law.

Promotion Period : The Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) on April 25, 2008, and ends at 11:59 p.m. CT on September 7, 2008 (“Sweepstakes Period”).

Limit : With the exclusion of Refer-a-Friend Entry, each entrant may only receive one (1) Entry per person, per email address and per household per day, regardless of method of entry during the Sweepstakes Period. Refer-a-Friend entries will offer each entrant up to five (5) additional Entries for the Sweepstakes. There is a limit of five (5) Refer-a-Friend Entries per person for the entire Sweepstakes Period.

Prize (s):

FINALIST SWEEPSTAKES PRIZE (8):  There will be eight (8) Finalist Sweepstakes Prizes available: four (4) for the Team Vickers Entry Pool, and four (4) for the Team Leffler Entry Pool. Each Finalist Sweepstakes Prize shall consist of one (1) trip for two (2) (winner and one (1) guest) to Concord, North Carolina from October 9, 2008, through October 12, 2008 to attend the NASCAR Nationwide Series and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series weekend at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. Trip includes round-trip coach air transportation from a major gateway airport nearest winner’s residence to destination; ground transportation to/from airport and hotel (Thursday, 10/9/08 arrival through Monday, 10/12/08 departure); standard hotel accommodations for three (3) consecutive nights (one [1] room/double occupancy) at a local hotel selected by Sponsor; two (2) tickets to the NASCAR Nationwide Series Dollar General 300 Race at Lowe’s Motor Speedway, scheduled to take place on October 10, 2008; two (2) tickets to the NASCAR Nextel Series Bank of America 500 Race at Lowe’s Motor Speedway, scheduled to take place on October 11, 2008; group shuttle service to/from hotel and Lowe’s Motor Speedway on October 10, 2008 and October 11, 2008; two (2) NASCAR Nationwide Series infield and garage credentials for October 10, 2008; admission for two (2) to the Nationwide Hospitality Chalet for October 10, 2008 (includes food and beverage); admission for two (2) to the Dollar General Hospitality Suite on October 11, 2008 (includes food and beverage); and the opportunity to participate in the Grand Prize Event (as detailed below).  Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Finalist Sweepstakes Prize is up to $3,500.00USD each. ARV of all Finalist Sweepstakes Prizes is up to $28,000.00USD.

GRAND PRIZE DESCRIPTION (4): One (1) 2008 Toyota Tundra vehicle with color, features and options as specified by Sponsor. Each winner must take delivery of the vehicle from a dealership near the winner’s residence, as designated by the Sponsor and within one (1) of the 50 United States or D.C. on or before November 30, 2008. All prize details, including color, features and options of the vehicle will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Grand Prize winner must agree to accept delivery of the vehicle “as is” at a location designated by Sponsor and may be considered a “used car” at time of award.  The only warranties which will apply are those currently active from the manufacturer at the time of acceptance of the vehicle. All federal, state and local taxes (including income and withholding taxes) on the vehicle and all other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein (including, but not limited to, sales tax, luxury tax, gas consumption taxes, destination charges, registration, title and license fees, insurance, dealer preparation, gas, maintenance and all other costs incurred in claiming, transferring, registering or using the vehicle) and other fees associated with the vehicle are the sole responsibility of the winners. Each winner must be a licensed driver and must present proof of insurance and a valid U.S. driver’s license upon acceptance of the vehicle.  ARV of the Grand Prize is $26,765.00USD each.  ARV does not include tax, title, license and other fees and costs described above, which are the sole responsibility of the winner. ARV of all Grand Prizes is $107,060.00USD.

FIRST PRIZES (4): Each of the four (4) non-winning Finalists of the Grand Prize shall be deemed a First Prize Winner and will receive a prize in the amount of $5,000.00USD. The award shall be provided to each First Prize Winner in the form of one (1) certified check in the amount of $5,000.00USD payable to the First Prize winner. ARV of the First Prize is $5,000.00USD each. ARV of all First Prizes is $20,000.00USD. Each First Prize Winner would receive the certified check via FedEx approximately four (4) weeks after the conclusion of the Grand Prize Event.

SECOND AND THIRD PRIZES: Prospective Second and Third Prize Winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible Entries received for a chance to win one (1) of the following prizes:

SECOND PRIZES (100): One (1) $50.00 Dollar General Gift Card. ARV of the Second Prize is $50.00USD each. ARV of all Second Prizes is $5,000.00USD.  Gift cards are redeemable for future purchases in any U.S. Dollar General retail location for merchandise or services only.  Not redeemable for cash.  Not a credit or debit card.  Purchases deducted from gift card until balance reaches zero.  No expiration date, no fees.  Subject to terms contained on gift card. Each Second Prize Winner would receive the gift card approximately six (6) weeks after the conclusion of the Sweepstakes.

THIRD PRIZES (250): One (1) Dollar General Racing T-Shirt (size awarded at the sole discretion of Sponsor). ARV of the Third Prize is $15.00USD each. ARV of all Third Prizes is $3,750.00USD. Each Third Prize Winner would receive the t-shirt approximately six (6) weeks after the conclusion of the Sweepstakes.
