The Nissan Altima needs solar panels on the dashboard that create heat to melt off ice/frost on the windshield for the winter seasons. This will limit the time for warming up the car while waiting for the windows to thaw out.

Very frustrating sweepstakes – went though all the writing proposal, asking fb friends to vote, etc. and then find that there is no place to vote – or at least it isn’t obvious…sadly, alot of time on my end and my fb friends was wasted…with a GREAT idea that evidently won’t be even seen via this method. :(

The direct sun during morning and afternoon obscures vision. The sun visors should be longer and transparent and dark enough to allow good vision when driving into the rising/lowering direct sun.

Also there should be a device (probably powered by the battery) that provides faster engine warm-up during winter so as not to need to burn so much gasoline.

Install a new smooth riding system. Tires will be replaced with a device that reminds you of :TANK TRACKS. The ride would be smooth and Nissan could establish the first type of this ride. Car design would use this system, no flat tires!!!, Thank you.

A cooler compartment for water or else, plus a way to keep warm your coffe cup , would be great to find as features in the new car design.

Why isn’t my name on my suggestion? Mine is the TANK TRACK idea. Not a waste of time, ex USN Machist Mate (Submarienes, Hospital Ship and Repair Ships) I know We can make a difference and pull ahead of the PACK. Sean M. Kelly.

I work in a parking garage in san francisco and i notice that most of new vehicle have key fobs i like the technology the problem is the most of the time customer tent to forget to leave the key in the car and alot of time they loose the key on their own and it hard to be find i thought maybe nissan could integrade a botton on the car that transmit a signal to the key fob and light up and beep indicating where the key fob is. it does not matter which company makes the car every time is the same a key fob that went in between the seats and can’t be seen or it’s in the customer pocket

It would be cool if the Nissan Leaf had a built in after hours self run generator system, that would allow the car to recharge its own batteries overnight. It would be cooler if they could experimentally make a car that could run on only generators. I used to play a videogame called Megarace. The cars they had to drive were so cool.
But at least a self recharge Nissan Leaf would be cool.
